After this period, packages automatically renew monthly at the current rate until cancellation, which can be made any time after the first year by phone or email (14 days notice required).   • How long will it take to get a new website?

    Depending on the complexity of the project, the average time frame for a custom designed website build is on average, 6 - 8 weeks. For simple designs, the time frame could be as little as 4-6 weeks. Get in touch for an accurate time frame on your project.

  • When am I required to pay the on-going monthly charge?

    Whilst the website build cost is required upfront, the on-going monthly website cost will not commence until the website is live.

  • Do I have to be local to work with you?

    No. We help businesses located all over Australia. 

  • Will I be able to update the site myself when it’s finished?

    Yes. Whilst we provde a ‘done for you’ service with our website packages, our backend design is set up to be user friendly, allowing the business owner full access to update their own website themselves if they'd like to.

  • Will you maintain the site for me?

    Yes. We will monitor, maintain and update your website frequently to ensure that is always healthy and live.

  • How much input do I have in the design process?

    As part of our process, we have a design meeting where we can talk about what design elements are most important to you and how you would like your customers using your website to ensure consistency and familiarity with your brand.

  • Who writes the content for the site?

    The more input we have from you regarding the content used on your website, the better. 


    That being said, we have access to wonderful copywriters and are most happy to utilise their services (usually for a small fee) to ensure the website copy is on point (and not stale AI generated - ew.)

  • Can you help with search engine optimisation (SEO)?

    All of our website are built with SEO foundations at the forefront of our designs, putting you in great stead for when you're ready to start implementing  a top-notch SEO strategy for your business.

  • Are your websites mobile and iPad friendly?

    Absolutely. All of our website designs are fully responsive and optimised to work on laptop, mobile and tablets.

  • Does you offer ongoing support after the website launch?

    Yes, we provide ongoing support after your website launch. We ensure your website is always live, maintained, updated, and continues to perform at it's best. 

  • Do I own my website?

    Yes. You own your website. We do ask however, for a 12 month commitment. After this time period, if you wish you cancel your website plan with us, we are most happy to transfer your design to you.

    Keep in mind, you would then be liable for all hosting, design, plug-ins, SSL Certificate and any other expenses linked to your website at the time of cancelling.

    Please speak with us prior to decide if this is the best option for you and we'll work together to make it as easy as possible for you.

  • Are your websites secure?

    Yes. As part of our website offerings, all websites designed by Otto Media include a current SSL Certificate to keep your website data secure.

  • Do you offer a website warranty?

    Yes. We pride ourselves on delivering top quality work for our clients and proudly offer a 100% money back guarantee. If you are not in love with what we have designed for you, please let us know within 30 days of design completion and a full refund (minus a $120+GST admin fee) will be paid back to you.

  • I only have a very small business. Do I really need a website?

    Yes, even if your business is small, having a website is very important. These days, most people look up products and services online before they decide to buy. If you don’t have a strong online presence, you might be missing out on potential customers who instead go to your competitors.
